The band leader and frontman “Papa “ Jeff Steel  is a great showman, who continues to dazzle audiences with his howlin’ harmonica, and also his trademark gentlemanly howls to the female members of the audience. This is one frontman who is the real McCoy – dedicated to only the finest blues traditions. Billy Haertel on drums is known throughout the city as one of the top timekeepers who makes this band swing and really take off

when they get charged up.

On bass, Rob Seckendorf is a terrific bass player, whether it’s walking those bass lines under the songs, or laying down the blues foundation on the bottom. Pat Hurley is regarded as one of the top guitarists in the club scene today, and all you have to do is experience one of his biting solos in person to see what all the buzz is about. Keyboardist Tom Sebastian wails on the black & whites, covering everything from piano and organ to horn and backing guitar parts.
